Panama City Attorney Adam L. Hood
Adam Lee Hood was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. He graduated from A. Crawford Mosley High School in 2001. He then graduated from Gulf Coast Community College in 2002 and then from the University of Florida in 2004 with a degree in Business Management. He then graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law (located in Jacksonville, Florida) in 2007. In 2011, Mr. Hood received a Master of Laws in Estate Planning and Elder Law degree from Western New England College.
His first job in the legal profession was as a file/law clerk for Laura Roesch (now Honorable Judge Laura Roesch) at the law offices of Hilton, Hilton, Kolk and Roesch, P.A. in Panama City, Florida. Upon Judge Roesch’s appointment as a judge, Adam continued his journey in the legal profession as a file/law clerk for Jacalyn N. Kolk. Adam gained valuable knowledge of how a law firm functions from filing to researching and drafting legal documents.
Adam was hired immediately out of law school by Syfrett & Dykes Law Offices, P.A. in April of 2008. Adam was admitted to the Florida Bar on April 30, 2008.
Adam primarily practices in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianships. Adam can also draft financial powers of attorney, living wills, and designations of health care surrogate.
Adam is currently a member of the East Bay Rotary Club. Adam coaches little league baseball at Hiland Park Little League. He also enjoys freshwater and saltwater fishing.
